Putty moved in with us two days before her 2nd birthday. Her cage mate had died, and Shelly did not want Putty to be alone for the rest of her life. Putty is a very sweet and gentle little girl, who I was very lucky to know for two months.

Putty was put to sleep on the 25th of June, 2005. Her lump on the chest (mammary
tumor) was getting bigger, and she was generally beginning to do worse.
We let her go while she still had some good days, and was a happy rat. She will
be missed by me, Ida and Shelly, and the rest of the ratty world.
