The Labrat

	Name: Wistar. Her name should be self-explanatory to anyone familiar with lab rats :)
	Birth date: 16.07.2004
	Color/type: PEW
	Breeder: Wistar lines
	Wistar is my first lab rat. She is from an outbred strain of rats, originating from Wistar lines. I got her when she was about 2 months old, and she slowly adjusted to being treated just like any other pet rat. She also seemed to settle in nicely with Lee and Ida. But after about 2 months she started getting more and more edgy, especially when she was out of the cage. She didn't like being handled at all, and she started attacking her cage mates and me. It got so bad I had to separate her in a small cage, but she still didn't seem happy. A friend of mine, who has no other rats, are currently trying to socialise her again.
	Unfortunately, it was not successful, and a very angry Wistar was put to sleep on January 24th, 2005.
